Hey thanks Kurt for doing this review, I appreciate it!
I know the CK5 may not be everyones thing but for people like me that loved Group C Endurance racing, this model fills a nice little niche (like the Rev/Mono 83G and LMM Rondeau). Im a magnet racer so this Flyslot will be right down my alley, it may not be as technically innovative as the Slot.it Group three cars but Im sure it will hang with them ok thanks to the magnets.
As for appearance, yes your review model is a little ho hum (ummm?), but the other side of the FlySlot Kremer CK5 is #060102, the first race livery which is black, white and gold and has GULF sponsorship. Its a nicely done model, or at least my example is, good finish, neat, nice little detail features like race taped headlights, just a nice thing.
Alas though I haven't run mine, will get around to that over the Christmas vacation period when I get more time.
Rachel.

Great, thanks Rob/Jane/Rachel/Sybil. :) If you get a chance, would you mind getting a shot of your fully painted CK5, please? The painted ones look so much better than this car, and I'd hate for people to decide on the CK5 based solely on this plain black plastic model. It's kind of a neat alternative to the Group C stuff out there today.

Ha!
H is a dream :)
He got the issue sorted out for me, probably had a notion what havoc a cross-dressing Bilby could create here....
...Will do mate, try to get it done this week, tied up with final exam prep etc at the moment, its a seriously good model in my view, anyone for a bent towards Group C needs one in their collection I think.
As you say, chassis is no frills basic to what we have become used to of late, but I think with a good true/tune and a set of PGT's this little car will "FLY", on plastic with mag at least, which is just my cup of tea!
Cheers,
Rachel... sorry.....

Cool, glad your identity has been sorted out. :)
No rush on the picture, just when it's convenient. I think folks will dig the car when they see it painted properly. :)
