Just had this car come in and it looks pretty impressive to me.



The markings might be decals, might be paint. In either case they look good to me and that means it doesn't matter what they are :)

I do not even care for the drink but the brand makes a nice looking car.



What really gets me is the metal flake finish. My amatuer photos cannot capture it the best, but it sure looks good in the flesh (metal, carbon-fiber?)



Mechanically it is identical the first 2 models we reviewed in the series. Good, the racing will be close.





This is a nice series. Look forward to tuning it. HRWJim is coming to visit and hopefully we get a chance to give them a run.

Another great looking car for the series, now you have 3 of them to race together. I wish more companies would take Carrera's approach at releases and release new cars in a series at the same time so you have another to race against. Great job Carrera on these cars they look awesome!

Ordered this car yesterday after getting the Aston Martin Vantage (great car). What PGT tires work on this car?

Had to pick this one up today. Gonna run it tonight.

Jim and I tried it from box to track. It let's you know that it is a car with potential. Now that mine has been tuned a little, it's a honey of a car.

Oh, after you clean up the stock tires I am more than curious what you think about them. Still not a contest against after-market tires here, but certainly a different blend of tire than years ago.

Really love Red Bulls colors. They look sharp on the cars.

Well, this is the best out-of-the-box Carrera I've ever had. It was super smooth and quick on the Carrera track tonight, then moved over to the wood track. Without even any tire truing, the car was smooth and quick. I'm very, very impressed with Carrera right now. I was running on the 3-lane wood track that has squeezes all over it (very hard to pass), and the Carrera Audi was being held up by a Sideways Lancia.

Harry, it looks like Carrera has finally gotten their tire compound right. Several years back they experimented with a super-grippy tire that was like balloon rubber. It was kind of bouncy rubber, though, and it didn't tend to last long before breaking down. This new compound is similar, but it's not grabby like those tires were. These tires are responsible for a lot of this car's speed, but another big thing is that the wheels are nice and round. Outstanding. :banana-dance:

Audi came today, popped the mags out, sanded the tires and ran it. VERY smooth, tires aren't bad on artin track, but looking forward to PG tires on it, should be here tomorrow. I'll sand the wheels then. This car and the Aston Vantage are great cars. Nice job Carrera!!
