Good review Harry! I picked up one of these awhile back and enjoy running it around the track. I think it is a looker. I noticed in the picture above someone is taking pictures of you taking pictures or er, your taking pictures of them taking pictures :? !

So I wonder about motor swaps. I think I want to try it and see how it reacts.
Had a conversation with Lee this evening, talking about the after-market goodies we have. Although it would make an expensive car in the end, we sure could doll these up rather nicely.
Not that any of us would do such a thing.

Great review as always, its a nice looking car and as we discussed, you sure could make it look and run even better with all the parts we have today.

For a potential motor down, has anyone ever tried the H&R Racing Jack Rabbit for cars that use the FC130 motor? Just curious as I don't think I have seen any posts about that motor on the boards here...

Oh yes, it's a good option. Used it a couple times in some older NINCO's.
I know a couple clubs using it as the spec motor for their classics. It has a a bit more power than an NC-1 or MT-1, but still a milder option.

I'm not a big open wheel guy(indy style f1) do like this era also. Nice looking body but that driver head would have to go. Looks like he has a big M painted on his face. The chassis is so so. Looks kind weak in the rear bushing area. One good hit away from cracking. Suspect if I got one it would end up with brass and wire anyway.
Nice review Harry. :handgestures-thumbup:

Love the Scalextric classic F1s although I'm yet to acquire a Massa.
Great review Harry, shame Scalextric hasn't done that much with the model...well except for the beard!
