Very cool.

In 1965 I was a junior in high school and driving. My Dad would not let me put my car on the road. I had bought a "junker" 1954 Ford Skyliner (NOT Sunliner) - this was the half glass roof like the "Crown Victorias" came out with in 1955. I had rebuilt the engine and snuck in some speed parts when Pop was not looking.

Slot car racing back then was mostly in the commercial raceways in the northeast.
