Great find and great refurb job...looks like new! What method did you use removing the decals?
Thanks,
Tom Baker

Yeah, what they said! I assume that you used a fine polish like Novus on the finished body, but how did you get those old decals off? Great job.

Cleaning and removing the decals was really easy I think the decals on there were from a model airplane but anyway I just reversed the application so to speak I soaked the body in warm soapy water and it came out CLEAN! only bad part it soaked the American flags off the doors so I will replace them. For polish I used Turtle Wax Polishing compound very fine plastic polish like novus works like a charm on polishing colored plastic bodies. The motor was pretty sticky and sluggish when I got it so I pull the rear axle out and let the motor run in Gunk Citrus Engine De-greaser for a few minutes then rubbing alcohol to rinse it clean a new set of tires from Smilin Rays and it runs like a champ!

Very clean rebuild. Nice job! It looks like it could have just come out of a factory box. :)

It's 1/32 Scale it really is clean there is one small scratch that runs through the black stripes on the roof and the front bumper has a little wear but for the age I'm very happy with it have to find some more of them for some match racing!
