I've always been an admirer of these chassis in particular and finally managed to buy one from a fellow board member (thanks, olskoolslotz!). It was complete and in excellent shape, unpainted as was the norm back then with foamies that somehow turned to stone. I removed all the chrome and did a bit of sanding then painted up in a fantasy livery and reattached the chrome, finishing with the usual wash with a final coat of flat clear.

So much better than it just sitting in my basement for the past 15-20 years. I had it with me at a slot show last Nov and someone commented that they thought the chassis spring action was too heavy, I have no experience with running these chassis' so that might be something to tinker with when you tune it. The car came from an eBay auction of a large homemade wood box shipped back to the States by a deployed serviceman. He must have been stationed in Japan because the box contained all Tamiya and Nichimo slots.
