If the company was from Morton Grove, Il. I have a Birdcage body I picked up about 8 years ago. I molded it and made resin repos of it. Never saw another one like it.

I have the Birdcage. Like virtually EVERY Birdcage in 1/32 it is off-scale. I've actually sectioned mine 4 ways and still am not happy with it.
This has to be one of the worst cars I've ever dealt with between the size and shape. VERY difficult to do properly.

My memory failed me, Bergman was from Mongomery,Il. I used a Ninco Jaguar xk120 chassis and repositioned the front wheels and made a sweet handling car.

Thanks for sharing info! I think it is pretty neat, if not 100% accurate.

I have two Bergman knock offs of the Birdcage. One of which I have posted pictures of. The second one is in process of becoming a Scaley digital car. David, there is a vacuformed version Birdcage out there that is pretty close to proportions. It is a really small car. Much smaller than the Bergman. I have one of the vacu bodies and also a fiberglass knock off of the same. I will loan the vacuform one to you if you want to lift a mold from it.
