Vintage Eldon makeover

Working on this little jewel!, Artin chassis conversion, MT-1 Motor, Alloy wheels, 9/27 gear set, E-bay body.
It will have a light kit,from a parts box car, and possibly some wheel inserts if i can find what fits the car.
still have axles to trim, tires to true,and a coat of future to seal the decals, but it is a runner,and will hang with the other oldies i have been building.
The lotus is a bit over scale for 1/32,but it fits right in with the other old classics well enough.

Thank you everyone! Putting these old rides back in regular service is fun! I hate to see anything like the Eldon's and Strombecker cars languishing in a box or on a shelf somewhere. I know most of them have some collector value if left un molested, but i know that they were originally sold to race! and most of them were worn out by young kids when they were new. So now the ones that did manage to survive in some ones attic or closet, are being being worn out by this old kid!

I know this is an old thread. (2014)
I obtained several Eldon cars. Of course there were dry tires, no guides, and no motors.
I tried several motor I have and find that they are to big.
Do you know where I can get a replacement motor for the Blue Can motor?

If you can't find the motor you want, you can get a 3D printed adapter that snaps in place and take FC-130 can motors.
