Revo w magnets.

On the Revo's write up for the Supra, I see indications of running with or without magnets. On my Revo Porsche, I had a devil of a time cutting a beveled slot for a magnet to flux enough down force to be competitive with plastic chassises with slots for magnets. By Revo's indications of running with magnets, I'm wondering if they've made any changes other than a flat aluminum chassis onto which to attach a magnet?

Non magnet is the only way I have run them. I replied to your email this morning. This car needs no magnet. What tires are you using? What is you voltage set at? We run the between 11 and 12 volts depending on the track.

I'm still wondering about having magnets on an advanced and expensive slot car. Magnets make a car artificially fast in the corners, and an advanced, balanced slot car does pretty much the same thing. Hmmm. Maybe I'm just saying the same thing Harry did, after all.

Haha, well I was having a joke with him of course :)
Some folks think I'm goofy running without magnets. Everyone has their favorite way...so to each their own. No wrong way to enjoy the hobby.
But magnets in this kind of car is sort of like ketchup on a hot dog for me. It's just something you should never do.

A hot dog without ketchup is like a world without women - expletive-ly yucky - you gotta get a life.
