I like it. You did a wild masking effort here. I just can't get that right.

Wow these stripes are just fantastic. When I try to do something like that I can't even describe how it looks for this is a family oriented forum you know. No matter how hard I try, I just can't get the crisp lines or edges. Great job that you have done there.

The sunburst paint scheme is very cool, Dave. I have often thought I would like to own one of these.

This Datsun was very popular here in NZ...pity they rusted away so quickly.

Hello Dave, The car looks great!!.......I have done a couple of similar masking jobs over the years and know what a pain they can be.....not to mention the work involved cleaning up the bleeds.

Several years ago I got a tip from a very accomplished static modeller, and it has been a godsend..........once you have finished masking, give the car a very light shot of clear, it will seal the tape edges, and any bleeds will be clear!, wait a few minutes, and start with the color.

A few pennies for the clear coat.......Not having to clean up those annoying Bleeds........priceless!!

Cheers

Great tip Chris, I know it is something I suffer from.
Thanks
