Just a little update.

I got the coupe/roadster models packaged and ready to ship out.

Looks like they will go out this Friday afternoon at the earliest.

That will be the earliest I can get to the PO after work when it is still open.

I've been rushing home from work every night recently and to the ice rink in preparation for my daughters ice show performances this weekend coming up.

I'm sorry for the delay but until her performance is over I have to set everything else aside for a short while.

I know you have had a lot of interest in these bodies already and don't want to hold up the process.

You should receive them by early next week.

I have a 1/32 1954 Ford two door coupe diecast that I think would make a great resin cast if you would like to borrow it. It would make a great hotrod or a Mexican road race style car.

Hi David,
The Ford looks that it will come apart easily as it screws together. The doors, hood and trunk all open. I was planning on just using it for scenery.

Let me know if you think casting is possible. My dad owns a 1 to 1 52 Ford which is the same body style, it would be really cool to build a slot car of it.

Will the 40 ford coupe be a close scale to 132, I find the lindburg models to be way too small to use them.
I have bought almost all of them hoping to find one that is acceptable and found only the 49 tudor ford useable for a slotcar body. :cry:

The silicone rubber can run into some cost - it is fine with me if you want to bump the price to cover some of the expenses.

And remember, 112" times 1/32 (or divided by 32) works out to 3.5" even...

Yeah, the Porsches are nice but I'm partial to "conventional" (water cooled/front engine) 50s/60s cars. I have one of Cagee's Ferrari 166s in work (along with his Caddy), a 57 "Battlebird" coming from Superjet so if I get a 300SL from you that ought to keep me busy for a while!

It's been a crazy week at work and at home so I took a halfer tomorrow to get my hair cut and run errands before my daughters show.

The models will go out in the mail to you around lunch time.

You should have them early next week to work your magic with!!!

Also, I'm intrigued at what this Torino is you speak of?

Any hope that the 54 Ford diecast can be done? I understand if it would be to much work to make castable.

Thanks, I can send it to you, if you need to examine it closer. I was thinking the opening parts could be temporarily glued shut using hot glue.
