Posted: Thu Sep 10, 2015 7:11 amHello Dave, The car looks great!!.......I have done a couple of similar masking jobs over the years and know what a pain they can be.....not to mention the work involved cleaning up the bleeds.
Several years ago I got a tip from a very accomplished static modeller, and it has been a godsend..........once you have finished masking, give the car a very light shot of clear, it will seal the tape edges, and any bleeds will be clear!, wait a few minutes, and start with the color.
A few pennies for the clear coat.......Not having to clean up those annoying Bleeds........priceless!!
