My first flared pick up worked out really well, so I've jumped on to another one.

Chassis's a PCS adjustable wheelbase one, powered by a stock Scalextric motor driving Scalextric 9t pinion and Slot It 28t crown gears. Front wheels and tires are Slot It Ferrari 312 and rear are Slot It F1 and homemade urethanes. Runs just fine with decent speed and good handling.

Not sure if it's Autograss Proxy 2 eligible because of the big rears, but I'm happy to run it with my other little cars.

Paint's on, Tamiya Racing Green rattle can, with yellow racing stripes (Pactra trim tape) for accent.

It's good on my short and twisty road course track but should be just fine on the Autograss Proxy 2 ovals.

Modeling details to come.

Some progress. Windscreen and grille mesh glued in. Interior tray cut, painted and taped in place. Driver figure glued in.

This car's so driveable and enjoyable with the plastic PCS chassis and stock Scalextric S can. I'm sure the giganto rear tires are the contributing factor.

Dan - Judging by that color scheme, I'd say Lotus had a hand in the modifications!

Nice job.
