Gents, Thanks for your kind words. I should also have said this comes with photo-etched wing plates and supports and oil cooler and radiator detail etches. Also the complex headrest/rollbar is done in white metal. I have it from Dave Capelen who I did the pattern for at SMK that the model's in production. He has suffered poor health since I did the pattern and is now catching up, so you can contact him on
slotcarmann@gmail.com on the good old Isle of Man. We're also discussing another from this period, possibly the Shadow DN7, for which I have drawings.
Good luck,
Martin

Martin - I cannot remember, but do you know what chassis this uses?

David, it uses a Penelope Pitlane, but with modifications to narrow the front end and shorten the back. Nothing too drastic, but mods. nonetheless. It was the only one I could find that would come near to fitting.
I will have to go mining in my tip of a workshop to find it though before telling you which one. I know it uses the slimline motor. Height and width at the front of that car are in very short supply.
I'll mail Dave Capelen and see if he knows which one I used. I'm afraid I ain't good with number combinations and all Steve Ward's excellent products are numbers and letters!
Cheers,
Martin
