I finally managed to acquire one....a body I have always wanted, but couldn't bring myself to buy and build a NIB kit.
Unfortunately, it's missing the glass.


Does anyone make a vac glass? I can make one if needed, but a vac form would be preferable.

A Hawk Lotus 30 and Chapparal 2 (with the odd exhaust) and a Lindberg Corvette came as part of the package, but I am willing to trade those off for the Corvair glass if that gives any incentive....or I will of course buy one if someone is selling.

I think my dad has one of those kits. If he still has it, I can vac form one for you. It may be a day or two before I get over there if you can wait.

If not, soda bottles do great. it takes longer to select what spot to cut out than it glue it in.

Not in a huge hurry....it's a project, so a little time is no harm.

I will be stopping by my parents tomorrow. He says he still has it.
