Peter - you are simply killing me slowly. These constant "teases" are fantastic! Love the deco look!

Thanks, Dave. Gotta keep the drive alive. You'll love the new Bug. The set was designed for it. I didn't want to hold out on Ember any longer so I thought I'd let it out in bits.

The car itself has been a PITA. It was partially painted when I got it and I didn't know as it was painted the same colour as the plastic. So I had to strip it. Got it all painted, screwed it up on the final clear coat and had to strip it again. All is well now and I am expecting to receive the spare wheel next week so I can clear the little bugger from my bench. I think an Airfix two tone K3 is next which I hope to do a real drop axle on complete with proper pre war camber.

Ahhh... I empathise with the strip and repaint saga. Quite certain the results will be well worth it.

I've been looking longingly at George's newest K3 offering with the female driver and riding mechanic.

Yes. Having purchased 3 different versions of George's Morgan for His Lordship I think I rather deserve a GTM kit of my own.

Beautiful car! If one didn't know it was a slot car it would appear to be the real thing. I like the use of plumbing supplies as plant pots, brilliant. :)
