I'm building out a car using the Devis 3D Design motor pod and front unit (axle/guide assembly). It calls for joining the motor pod to the front unit using 2mm brass rod and/or 0.030" sheet brass.
What is a good source for these products? Where would you recommend that I source them online?

You can also ream the mount holes to 3/32 and use steel coat hanger rods cut to your length.or cut down old axles.
I did this on a slot it pod that is basically the same thing.

K & S sells .032 brass sheets & strips. You should be able to find it in craft stores & hobby shops such as Hobby Lobby, Micheals, A.C. Moore or some Ace Hardware stores. Your local raceway might stock brass sheet & rod too, but I've not been there. K & S also sells 3/32" rod in brass, stainless, & piano wire that Bob mentioned using in his post above.

Thanks for the recommendations & links. I've ordered the K&S rod and some sheets to work with.
