You want to know what's really funny??? That photo is taken on my phone!

Crumbs... I need a manicure.

Greg, not sure if I'll polish or not. The Tamiya clear is coming up really glossy and giving a pretty good finish. Ever so slight orange peel if you look at it really hard in a certain light, but.... I'm not chasing perfection because I don't think it's available. But, I can honestly say this is the best paint finish that I've ever achieved. So, perhaps I'd better stop clear coating before I stuff it up.

Onto the interior bucket today.

Don't worry Ember, Leadfinger is a little bit to the left of fanatical. That's why we like him. If he could, he'd dip his cars in glass for the finish he wants. I know, I talked him into it.

In other news, I spent some time with Tamiya clear, and I found it is rather fragile. I would recommend that as soon as you have the shine you want it to be, seal it in with Future.

I have not tried Future. Nor do I have a source for it in town. Actually, I have not found any floor polish on the supermarket shelves at all. I could probably doo with some on my Baltic pine floorboards.

The big question is, what does it go by in Aus and is it even the same formulation?

Got to repair some of the chrome work, so I'm thinking I should strip it and use BMF.

Mind you. I was very tempted when doing the spats to just fill the holes and leave that gorgeous curve unblemished. I'll be using F560 canopy glue to reassemble it when I get there.

A bit more work on the driver.

Some thickening up and extra work on the coat, fixing the cuffs and filling some of the padding on the trousers, plus adding in a silk scarf.

I was challenged to change the Jag to a more correct right hand drive. Also, people have mentioned the grin on the driver's face. So, I wanted something to help explain the grin other than the car. So a story needed to be told.

Lynne, you are almost too talented (if there is such a thing)! SInce you're converting to RHD are you going to model the scale "AA" & "RAC" badges on the front? Oh, since you gave him a scarf, the jacket should be a leather, flight jacket. Can't wait to see it done!

It was intended to be more of a top coat over formal wear, hence the silk scarf.
