Nice work. I've got one of them waiting for me stripped and ready for paint. Always loved the English (Racing) White with red leather combo. Makes it a classic Classic.

Nice car!!! Love the scheme.
Get one of those window AC units and you'll be able to live up there. I keep trying to get Listerstorm to do his garage before I come down again. I don't like certain things to sweat when racing cars...just sayin'.

Greetings, that turned out very nice. Like the color. I'm in the same boat, got five cars done and just waiting for paint and details. But it keeps raining here, just enough to drive the humidy up. :violin: Regards, John

Great looking car!
Very nice!
Likewise here, the humidity is so high I can't paint today.
The paint would never dry....

Wayne - are you using Duplicolor auto paints? Those should work well.

Hey David!
I only use Duplicolor paints....
I work as a painter for SW and we own Duplicolor. :D :D :D
Nothing like supporting the one who pays your paycheck buy buying paint for your hobby!!!
I still don't like to paint when it is this humid.
Takes too long for the paint to dry and entraps moisture into the paint.
Also clears will get cloudy with moisture entrapment in them.

Hey David!
If you like duplicolor, you ought to check out SW's Barrett Jackson Hot Rod paint line or the Summit racing paint line also.
I get to dabble with a little of everything!
I work in the Heavy Industrial side of things but have a lot of friends and connections on the automotive side too.....
Every day in the paint world is a new different color for me!
So many colors it is hard deciding on a paint scheme.....
Lucky you in Colorado!
I wouldn't think the Humidity is that high out there regularly is it?

Thanks for the kind words folks.
The bare plastic ridge down the side was bugging me. I wish I would have sanded it off before painting, but it's too late, so i decided to make the best of it. Bare Metal Foil time!

It's not perfect, but it's loads better than before.
By the way, the weather has cooled down a bit so I've been running cars instead of finishing projects. I'll post more paint jobs once there's another heatwave. I've got a Fly 911 that's nearing completion and a Ninco XK120 heading in the stripper tonight. I have grand plans for that Jag. Wish me luck!
