There was a comment made during the report that his insurance provider may be somewhat reluctant about accepting a claim.

My personal feeling is that this was probably the best possible outcome of this situation. He's won't be driving for a while, no one was hurt, and he may get a $200,000.00 "scolding"

That's a doosey (the hellcat story). Yeah, the standard hemi has enough power to scare you if you aren't careful. The hellcat would be like having a hair trigger on complete out-of-control craziness. Like my science teach always warned us: More, more. Better, better?

The guy in the Lamborghini was obviously racing with the Viper. It is stupid to race on public highways where you might be going twice as fast as the other cars. Even at lower speeds you need to drive cars like that carefully, they have a lot of power and even modern stability and traction controls may not save you. In cold weather cars that still have summer tires will have greatly reduced grip.
