Many of you know that I had spinal surgery last September and was on disability up until about a month ago when I finally was given the okay and went back to work.
During that time earlier this year my computer crashed and I was not able to upload pictures from our borrowed computer. Fast forward to now and I am back up and functional again with a new lap top and can post pictures again.
With that I got out of 1/32 during this time to supplement the household budget due to going down to 60% disability.
I have to give a big shout out to my friend TuscoTodd for helping me out during my trying times! I think he bought probably 80% of my 1/32 collection off of me really helping me out financially when times were lean an d with that I really do appreciate it!
But not only did Todd do this but he seen I had kept my Ho to dabble with and he surprised me with a very special gift that he custom built for myself and my kids to enjoy. If you remember awhile back Todd was racing the AW racing rigs? Well he built these for me below in honor of my Speed Shop and Race Track I go by and am known for.
Words can't describe my sense of joy I had when these arrived from Todd. I'm constantly amazed at the acts of kindness and generosity to others on this great message board! I can't say Thank You enough to Todd for such a wonderful gift that he provided me to get me through my rough times during my recovery.
Todd again Thank You so much my friend! I had to post these pics finally to show everyone your awesome custom work and act of kindness!
Also I would like to Thank everyone here for their words of encouragement in helping me through my recovery to get me back on my feet. It really meant a lot to me hearing from all of you and knowing you were there in my corner every step of the way! This message board really helped me get through my days and helped with my healing process. A big Thank You to all of you here on the message boards too!
And one more Thank You to Dave(TsgtRet) for giving me a great deal on his Fly Panoz and getting me back into 1/32 again! This is my first 1/32 car since selling off my 1/32 collection last Fall in my time of need. I don't have a track to race it on yet but the shop I race HO AT Badlhobby just put in a 4 x 8 oval of 1/32 scaley sport track so I can test and tune there.
Wayne (Bolton's Speed Shop) :D :D :D :D :text-thankyouyellow:
