NICE looking way of keeping them! A friend of mine did something similar with his die cast. One thing he did though, to help limit the dust, but keep everything visible, was that he had 2 foot wide sheets of plexiglass cut at the lumberyard to cover things. He used a hole saw to cut some 3/4" holes in the upper corners that he put rubber grommets into, and then hung the sheets from 1/4 lag bolts he put into the face of the top shelf to slip the sheets over.
It makes for a nice way to keep the dust down - but also allows the collection to still be seen. :)
