We visited South Dakota first and spent time at Mt. Rushmore, Bear Country USA, Custer State Park, Jewel Cave, Bad Lands, Ellsworth AFB, Spearfish, Deadwood, Wall Drug and everything in between. We then headed to Wyoming and hiked around Devil's Tower before heading to Yellowstone.
What a great time we had. Really nice people everywhere and some gorgeous country.
And, for those that care: 2600 miles, several high-speed runs, and the Challenger knocked down 25.2 MPG. Not bad for a 500 HP car ;) The Challenger handled everything I threw at it, and it was a JOY to drive through all the canyons and scenic byways. This thing handles like a 1:1 slot car!
A few pics from the trip:

I was born at Ellsworth AFB. My late father worked on the 52D’s here. I got this in his honor. We also did the tour of the missles…VERY cool.

Almost drove off the road when I saw this outside Beulah, WY! It is even spelled right! I didn't know we owned a ranch!
