1:1 slot building

My Mom wound up in 'ye ole' nursing home this summer.......She's improving & adjusting though.
Turns out an old fellow racer from the 60's is living there also.
He went by the moniker of CYCLONE BARBEAU...
He definitely thought way outside the box.
From old coupes with shark finned trunks to a flip top Henry-J with a 60's era corvette side panel.
He was wheeling around the home today with his photo album, so I copied a couple for your enjoyment.

Back "in the day" It seems we built the 1:1 Race cars pretty much like we build our slots...............
Just took a couple more hands....:lol: :D :lol: :D :lol: :D :lol: :D



The actual 1:1's around here were just as wild as my slot mods.............
All garage built & one-offs..............
just in case youse guys think all this wierd stuff comes out of my head........

It'l perhaps help you to see your friend on those visiting days that don't go so well with your mum.

I had similar with my dad, I met up with an old Dakota pilot in the same home... some days when my Dad was a bit down, it was nice to chat to the old pilot on my way out...selfishly picked me back up as well as giving someone for him to chat to.
