Turns out an old fellow racer from the 60's is living there also.
He went by the moniker of CYCLONE BARBEAU...
He definitely thought way outside the box.
From old coupes with shark finned trunks to a flip top Henry-J with a 60's era corvette side panel.
He was wheeling around the home today with his photo album, so I copied a couple for your enjoyment.
Back "in the day" It seems we built the 1:1 Race cars pretty much like we build our slots...............
Just took a couple more hands.... :D  :D  :D  :D

The actual 1:1's around here were just as wild as my slot mods.............
All garage built & one-offs..............
just in case youse guys think all this wierd stuff comes out of my head........
here's some inspiration for the "Showdown"
A 70's era Firebird modified built & driven by my buddy Marv Pruett.

The famous 427 Ford powered Henry-J.......
Don't think I'd trust the water pipe roll bars though.............
It had a flip top body like a funny car..............
