"Downunder Diorama Queen"-- I love it.

There's at least 3 of us here who do a lot of cooking, and I'm sure recipes will be forthcoming. Mine specialize in using readily available stuff usually, so I just have to translate what I call a product to what you call a product. Failing that, I'll mail stuff to you when we can't find an ingredient.

Over on the old site was/is a thread that was started titled "Slotter's Cookbook" - http://homeracingworld.yuku.com/reply/3 ... eply-36223 - that has a few recipies. [I especially enjoyed the one on "How to cook a Carp." Guess the author never dined on carp croquettes!]

Any how, perhaps it's time to revive the theme here. (hint, hint)

That's pretty funny considering that gefilte fish is jellied carp. I had a Jewish girlfriend back in the dinosaur days, and believe me, you don't want to taste carp! Her parents made me taste it. I had live sugar grubs in Africa that tasted a lot better.

I just went to see it, and I remember now. The whole thread kinda died when some jerk made reference to liberals disliking churches. It wasn't much fun after that crap.

Now surely a Slotters Cookbook would have to includes beverages too. I've got some great home brew recipes.

Could quite happily contribute a few venison recipes to the mix. And there is a standing offer of a fine goat curry should any of you mob venture down to this end of the world.

Look at Hogan's link to the old site, Dennis. We don't need to stir up old hurts, but that's why such a good idea kinda got dropped. I'd love to get it going again.

You know, Cindy, I was gonna tell folks not to call you out on anything 'cause you don't mind a challenge, but I decided that seeing them suffer and be embarrassed is way more fun!

Me? I'll be happy with whatever you put on my plate, it's always good! Tater Tot casserole anyone?! :D

Yes Jeremy I love a challenge! You just MIGHT get some Tater Tot casserole in a few weeks.

I have a hard time sharing recipes though cause I normally don't use one and it is hard to tell anyone how I do it cause it is usually a little different each time.

Had a great bowl of chili tonight. Made it two weeks ago, froze a bunch. Perfect on a cool evening!
