Most important meal of the day

Postby HomeRacingWorld » Sun Aug 04, 2013 10:14 am

And The General knows how to make it!

Image

All the goodies with fresh hot peppers and hot sauce. So much goodness she had to use the turkey platter we use during the holidays :)

Have a Vette and a Jalopy build going on so she knew I needed strength.

Sure beats the 2 "microwave McMuffins" I had at 5:30 this morning......but then again, I would also need a nap and being at work they kind of frown on that sort of thing. :naughty:

David the hot sauce is sprinkled over the top, but no he didn't do apple butter.

A recipe for what?

Needless to say we both love to cook and breakfast is his favorite meal of the day.

Weekend breakfasts are fun. His Lordship and I tend to take turns. But I might struggle to top the cheese pancakes I did last Sunday.

I don't really have an exact recipe. Here are the basics

6 eggs in a bowl (or however many you need), enough milk to thin out a little. season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, seasoning mix of your choice. ( I use Weber Steak and Chop seasoning) salt, paprika. Add diced onion and diced green pepper and a few chopped jalapenos to suit your taste.
Spray skillet with non stick cooking spray. Put over med heat, pour in and let cook stirring occasionally. Toward the end stir more to get to your desired
doneness. Sprinkle top with shredded cheddar and of course I drizzle with hot sauce. :P

Then sit back and enjoy.

You forgot- enjoy watching the guests' eyeballs bug out just before they say "smooooth- are there seconds in the kitchen?".
