Nice, but if I stand on a street corner for too long, people start staring at me...

There are so many cruise nights and car shows in this area I am almost showed out. These
have been going on for fifteen years or more. Once each town realized how many people
these shows were bringing into their shopping districts, they started scheduling cars shows.
The great thing is that there are a lot of cars which were garage dwellers that are now out
in the daylight. Plus most of the police depts. look the other way about illegal vehicles on these
nights. The first couple years I only brought street legal cars, but then got a little more adventurous
and started bringing race cars, hoping I wouldn't get tagged for no muffler or any one of the other
"pecadilloes" of these cars.

The Golden Super Cruise happens every first Saturday of the month here. It usually brings out 1000-1500 cars. The control it very well and it is an absolute blast. Seriously nice cars and people. Love it!

We have a car cruise here in Berea every Sunday night.

Depending on the night we get 50 to 100 cars.

The Father's Day show is the biggest here of the year.

On any given evening of the week there are multiple places holding car shows.

I could go to one 7 days a week if I wanted.....

I use to show my cars I had years ago.

Life is different now with a wife and kids and now all I show is scratch builds of slot cars at club events and here on the message boards.

Life is still good just in a smaller scale way!!!

Over a decade ago the biggest local town, Fort Smith, AR, used to have a radio station-sponsored "Criuse Night". I took my Chevelle's to it a time or two. Don't know what happened to it... it just sort of fizzled out. No cruise nights anywhere regoinally that I know of, but several car shows.
