Be careful, having a Jeep is addicting. I have been bitten by the bug since 1995 when I got my first CJ. I loved my old boxy Cherokee. I drove it till it had 250 K on the odometer. I drive a 2010 2 door JK Rubicon now and have had some of the best adventures of my life behind the wheel of it. The Jeep is called Little Ralphie in honor of my father the first Jeeper in the family who rode in one from Omaha Beach to the Battle of the Buldge and back without a scratch. He rides along with me in my heart when I go off road with it.
Nobody has told you that the Jeep life costs you money to do all the upgrades to make your Jeep better, that is what gets addicting. I have sunk over 3 grand in mine since I got back from my trip out West and have more to go before next years trip. The new tires are great but the minivan motor cannot push them, so I will be putting in 5.13 gears, some new balljoints and some front axle bracing for another grand or so. . You may wonder about the 5.13 gear ratio, with my new 35 inch tires the engine RPM at highway speed will be the same as a manual Rubicon (4.10) with stock tires or about 450 rpm higher than my Auto trans version with stock tires. Even with the stock tires on my Jeep this summer I drove most of the higher elevations in second gear on the highway. . .
