Yeah... it's time for my good friend Bob Beer's annual SUPER BOWL SLOT CAR SHOW!!
One of the largest, longest running slot car shows in the country!

Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 10am - 2pm, $5 admission -- $20 "early birds" @ 8am
HUNTINGTON HILTON HOTEL, Melville, Long Island, NY
On RT 110, Exit 49S off RT 495 LIE (just a few minutes off the Long Island Expressway exit),
or Exit 32N Southern State Parkway (Nassau/Suffolk end of the Belt Parkway)
STAY AWAY FROM THE NORTHERN ROUTES NEAR THE FOOTBALL STADIUM !!

Come and say hello to me at "BIG E's SUPER SUNDAY SLOT CAR TAILGATE PARTY" !!
I'll be the first tables on the left wall as you enter the room. (enter through the hotel rear main doors to the "HOCARS" ballroom)
So... bring your pocket magnifiers, ''maglites", $$$, and a SMILE!!
There will be many great slot car vendors set up, all scales, especially for the HO guys. Door prizes, too!

***The big show is two weeks from tomorrow!**
I just spoke with my good friend Bob "Mr. Aurora" Beers on the phone this morning. He assures me that everything is on schedule
and the show will once again be in one of the Hilton's large, well lit ballrooms. Looking forward!

Over the weekend, I found a few more items for the vendor table at next Sunday's show.
The roads are presently clear of snow, and the forcast is lookin' good.

Well, once again we had about 400 people attending, vending, and enjoying Bob Beers' annual Super Bowl slot car show on Long Island.
I personally had a great time, met some of my internet friends face to face, and made a few extra $$$, too!
The day kept me pleasantly busy shaking hands and greeting new (and old) friends, while keeping active with sales most of the day at my vendor booth.
I was on my feet all day -- from 6:30am until I drove away at 4pm that afternoon!
It was also nice to finally score a couple of the long awaited Dash Motorsports T Dash chassis to bring home and play around with.
Long time friend and HO slot vendor Tom Stumpf did the right thing, limiting customers to a maximum of 5 chassis each.
This gave any show attendees that were interested an honest chance at scoring one for themselves.
Good job, Tom, and thanks are in order from all the customers and vendors for his "fair play" policy.
I hope everyone that attended had a great time and went home happy with a bag or box full of new stuff to enjoy!
