Was good to see Young Moffat get his 1st Bathurst podium too (even if he was driving a Datsun). I reckon there's a grumpy old Canadian with a smile on his face somewhere.

feel a bit sorry for Young Van Gisbergen tho'.

Did I imagine it or was there a 'moment' between Moff Jr and Taz on the podium? Something happened and there was suddenly big gap between them.

But Chas is definitely a talent of the future. I wonder did we just see the "new Craig Lowndes"?

The last 5-10 laps were nothing short of crazy. My heart bleeds for Gisey. Poor bugger. And a bit the same for Frosty being taken out by Lowndes.

Thanks Fab's. I Wasn't aware that was the case. I knew it just didn't sound the same. Not a bad, just different.
Either way it's a weapon. I thought it was a real chance there. That wall at the cutting doesn't forgive any lapses in concentration.
Never noticed the "moment" emb's but I agree it was one of the wildest races at Bathurst I've seen and I haven't missed one since about '76 when John Fitzgerald and Bob Morris bought home the Torana for a win with a massive smokescreen trailing it.
One thing about Frosty being cleaned up by CL is that you know for sure it would never be intentional. He's a hard racer but fair.
