What do you think? Yes or No? Would you drive it?

Of course!

It's an extended middle finger to the self-righteous "save the planet brigade", isn't it?

In fact, it would be that if it was just standing on your drive.

Well....If nothing else, it is an original one of a kind. It's not something I would have built, but everyone has there own taste. He could have vacumed out the interior before he took the pics though.

It amazes me how people sell things on ebay without first cleaning them. I landed a few slot cars that generally go for what I consider to be too much money at very reasonable prices because the photos of them showed tons of dust and grime. (ex: a Racer 330 P3 for $115!) A little cleaning and the cars look great.

In the auto department, a freshly washed, waxed, and vacuumed car can sometimes fetch thousands more than the exact same car if it looks like it's been owned by slobs. A clean car gives off that air of being cared for, while a dirty car gives the impression that there are mechanical problems that have also gone untended.

As for if I'd drive this particular one- Sure I would! I hate today's cars. They have virtually no character. Kudos to this guy for bucking the norm and creating an oddball. I can't believe the current bid is $215!

No White Castles in Mississippi. They have Krystal, which is similar but a thousand times better food.

I think this car is butt ugly. Great idea but poor execution.

Anyway check out the ad for this car. Read the ad, not so much about the car. Its quite funny -

Not being a huge fan of that bodystyle...I think it's an improvement ;)

I have always been amazed that folks don't clean things before they sell them. Of course not letting them get that filthy also helps show that it is well maintained...

There was a 57 Chevy 2 door BelAir in our family at the same time we had a 60 Chevy station wagon. I was too young to drive at the time and also too young to understand why my older brother wanted to use the wagon on dates. Personally I think a well restored unaltered 57 Chevy is much more appealing. Translating the look of the 57 to a 100% new lower car would get my attention. But I have to say I like what this guy did.

Reminds me of the "Chezoom". I think it was built by Boyd Coddington, but just more tastefully. Not my style, as I like my classic shoeboxes to look like what they are. :)

I saw a white Camaro ragtop with this same body kit yesterday. It actually looked a bit better than the coupe but was still ugly. It was also for sale.

Call me a prude but I rarely like it when someone alters the lines of a nice looking car.
