Time to load up the bowl. This is a mix of standard Kingsford, competition Kingsford, and Ozark lump. The Ozark lump has that great flavor the "seals" the deal. Get it? :doh: Oh, some applewood chips too, can' forget those.

Not be outdone by the boss, with his direction I am smoking our Turkey this year. Hickory chunks and Cowboy lump charcoal. This was after the first 2 hrs, I cant wait to taste this thing. Thanks for the help Boss!

Ember BBQ Galore have a smoker in there range & is decently priced. I dont know how good it is though?

Yes sir, this one is on it's 3rd year. The General saved it from a yard sale, where it was unused and neglected.

I just woke up a while ago from a food induced coma. :laughing-rolling:

I just woke up, too. I went out and stripped the rest of the turkey when I was still sleepy and had worked for a few minutes before I realized I was doing it like a pork shoulder- pig pickin'! It works pretty good as a technique for turkey it seems. There's enough turkey left to fill that server I am holding in the picture at least five times. Gooood sandwiches! But not tonight.

I needed extra dressing this year because my mother and I are going to try to freeze some and use it at Christmas. The block (in the picture) is 3 x 20 x 10. That's 600 cubic inches of dressing. Good thing its a really good batch. That could be embarrassing.

That's dressing? I assumed it was butter. Looks about the same size and colour as the block of cultured butter I churned yesterday. Waiting for it to firm so I can cut it up and wrap it to distribute to staff members at His Lordship's school.
