Hey what motors you guys running in those H&R chassis?

The 40K motors they come with or something else?

18k Hawks! 40k...no way!

It is a Revell. Harry sent it to me and I broke it - hence the remodel. Right now it is in the tire shop having the foamies replaced with PG urethanes.

18K Hawks?

Now can the H&R chassis be ordered with this motor or do you have to buy the 18K motor separately and swap them?

Also have any of you tried to run these 18K Hawk motors off of a set power pack like a scaley sport power pack?

Could it be done?

I would imagine a 18K hawk motor wouldn't be that much different than a stock scaley 1/32 motor would it?

I use 18k H&R Hawks in all my H&R cars as well. For me they are the best motor. Just a nice controllable motor. From memory, Gene at Slotcarplace.com was putting together custom H&R packages. Your choice of motor, wheels, tires. Chat to Gene. In saying that I buy the standard complete H&R chassis then the motors & wheels on top of that. saying that I buy the Depending on what you are building you may want to run the front wheels all round as the rears are quite wide.

Ive never run a hawk on a scaley sport power pack but yeah they would run fine I would think.
