Yes sir. Skip and the gang just know how easy it is to make a fun slot car shop.
His brother is kind of a trouble maker, but we like him too.
Thanks for posting this. It's great to see the shop setting the standard.

Dave if you ever come this far east, be sure to give us advance warning, er, notice. It would be good to meet up.

Just stopped by Bullitt Speedway on Sunday, and what Skip calls a 'slow day' today would have been a fantastic turnout 5 years ago. There were about 20-25 people in the shop -- men, women, kids.
I asked him what the difference was, and he said that he'd been making it so that anybody can compete. If you're slow, money isn't the answer because of the rules he uses. He lost a few of the high-dollar racers, and gained a ton of people who just wanted to have fun.

Indeed this place is fun, me and my grandson race most every Thursday night, two classes. He's 13 and is getting pretty good, beat me both races last week. Last Saturday we ran the annual Bullitt 500, yep 500 laps on the Blue King, I think 21 entries, 5 minute heats, go through twice to get to 500, took about six hours. Past racers that ran the freaky stuff cant quite get their mind around it when I tell em we have a blast running 9.5 second laps lol. Some of the best door to door stuff out there in my opinion.
