Radio Shack motors

Didn't know where else to post this so all of the forum would see it.
Radio Shack is shutting down a bunch of their stores and filing bankruptcy. If you live near a store that is shutting down, get in and check their parts bins! I just picked up 2 of the 7.5VDC motors like Bob Taylor was using in his midgets and they were $1.20 each (regular price 3.99). The motors are "half length" FF size, they have 6, 7.5 & 9vdc motors; the stock # on the 7.5 is 273-0046. I plan on using one in a Bugeye I'm building. A shame about Radio Shack; I worked for them twice, part-time, when I was in the AF. To date myself, the second time I worked for them was when the TRS-80 computer first came out! It was a fun place to work back then.
Anyway, check it out!

"TRS-80 computer first came out!"

Had one. :)

Thanks for the heads up. My local was smaller and didn't carry them.

TRS was our first computer, and my two oldest boys that used it are now computer engineers. It is interesting that you can now buy an iMac for roughly the same amount as one of those first home computers. Considering today's dollar the iMac is a great deal.
