I watched both events in their entirety, and was disappointed when they didn't introduce and talk to the lucky passengers of the two seater by radio, which is usually the norm for those broadcasts. No races were cancelled. Yeah, the weather kind of screwed up the weekend for the entire event. I remember that happening when I attended the first IndyCar Meadowlands Grand Prix, in NJ. Some poor guy wadded up a beautiful Lotus 19 during the Vintage Sports Car support race in the Sunday morning rain. I believe the year was 1984, Bobby Rahal won the IndyCar race. I attended all the following NJ events, until the event was dropped from the schedule after about eight years or so. This past Saturday's Detroit race started out as a bit of a crash fest, Sunday's race was more entertaining, in my humble opinion. -- Ernie :>)
