I saw the new Ford GT at the New York Auto Show, I am looking forward to the racing version.

I think I'll purchase one of those on Monday along with the GT350R Mustang. I know some of you may think I'm nuts but it would be hard to pass up at five bucks per copy. I guess I should mention that it is 1/32 scale and is available at 3dFord.com. If you want to spend a little more, they will even print out a PLA plastic version for you. Now then to wait until Monday.

That car looks great! I'm not a Ford guy, but I hope that car does well in the GT class at Le Mans. It's a little bit too bad that it's predecessor, the GT-40 was a Prototype class car and this is only a GT class car, but perhaps Ford will move up to LMP-1 some day; if this GT effort pays off for them. I wondered how many years they could spend watching GT Chevy Corvettes do well racing before the old bug bit again.

But last time; the Ford-Ferrari wars of the mid-'60's, was sparked by Henry II's failure to purchase the prancing horse. I wonder what sparked this new GT effort and whether or not it will fan into a real fire at Ford?

Sure would like to see a 1/32 slot car version of this new GT.....................

Awesome car! I think the car debuts at Daytona next year. I am really looking forward to seeing the new Ford GT dicing it up with the other cars. Will definitely make for some good racing.
