The LT married his best friend yesterday in the smoothest wedding ceremony I have ever been to or taken part in. It was a great time and it was awesome to see how many friends and family were able to make it.

One down, one to go - incidentally, that ONE is on the far right in the bridesmaid line. I do have a shotgun painted to match her eyes, so negotiations will be required.

What was super cool is how many of his AF friends were there from around the country as well as his first Detachment Commander from his first year in AFROTC his freshman year of college.

Lots of great stories all around.

We won't soon forget it.

Dad sounds pretty proud, and seems with very good reason. Congratulations.

Sorry to be late with my congratulations; was working 12 hour shifts all weekend. A smooth wedding is a good omen! Hey DR, no crossed sabers? :mrgreen: BTW, Remind the new Mrs she is also now a dependent!

Dave - Thanks! No crossed sabers - he did have one AF buddy in the ceremony but wanted it civilian so his best friend and Bride's youngest brother could be in it.

She knows it and they have a list of stuff to do when they get home! As for dependent...I'm thinking he just had a major change of command and is going to be figuring that all out ;)
