We are 148 years old today, and I want to wish all a safe and funfilled July the 1st.

Holy moly, lets whip out the slots, beer and brats and party like its 1999 eh. Happy Canada day to the great folks up north eh! I'll save you all not tell how the spelling of Canada came about eh.

This is the first time in many years that Canada Day (Dominion Day when I lived there), got past me. Cheers!

I can still hear those Southern Ontario kids talking about "choice" and "take off, hoser". I had a great time there for 3 years before we moved back to the States. I don't miss trying the skate as a recent bayou boy (but the girls tried to teach me, and that was great!), or having to play goalie in street hockey because I couldn't skate (I wore buckle boots).
