This is awesome and I totally agree that we should support such institutions and sanctuaries.

In South Africa we have a couple of similar places for lions, tigers and leopards. These places have now been exposed to canned hunting fronts. So keep your eyes and ears open for similar practices.
Enjoy the good and protect nature. This is the only legacy we can give our children and their children.

We have one of these facilities right here in our little town in NE Indiana http://www.blackpine.org/. Not near as grand as the one you went to but serving the same purpose. Looks like that one you went to is pretty nice. And yes, the wife and I are animal lovers (all of our pets are "rescues") and it seems to run in the family....my youngest daughter and her partner are animal rescuers....presently have 4 horses, 9 dogs, 8 cats and assorted chickens and ducks. Thanks for posting, Dave.

I've forwarded this to my wildlife-loving wife. I told her we need to visit this place soon. And perhaps there are wild slot cars in Colorado, too!
