Thanks for posting the slide show! It's great to see those cars restored. I especially enjoyed the purple #17 (that's the one I associate, with Bouchard , the most). But my favorite was the McTavish #24..... brought a tear to my eye.

Wasn't the purple #17 Kenny's ride rather than Ron's, or is my memory playing tricks on me? :)

It was great to see George Summers #21 in the slide show.I can still recall track announcer Wally Saleeba giving the line up for the thirty lap feature as the cars rumbled and snorted around that 1/4 mile oval Seekonk Speedway waiting for the green flag to fall for the Class "A" feature.

The 716 car brought back a lot of memories, it is one of many cars that carried that number and was built by Fred Beaber. A few years ago a fellow HO racer got some pictures from Fred's collection, those looked like they had been removed from an album and were not in great shape. I cleaned them up as much as I could using Photoshop and they are available for anyone that is interested.
