A few Fall colors from Colorful Colorado

After a rough week, we took a needed break today and took our daughter who was visiting from college up to the mountains.

We drove over Weston, Breakneck and Browns passes. Weston was beautiful and rated an easy two. The Breakneck and Brown passes are rated a 3 but there were two sections that were easily a low 4 - very steep and full of very loose and large scree. Fun nonetheless and here's some pics:

Nice pictures Dave. I've probably said it before, but someday I'll make it out there in my VW Vanagon Syncro and you can show me the way around. I might need to get some bottled oxygen for my boxer 2.1 and perhaps some for me too.

Of course, I just got a 4-ton jack from HF that would make a race crew proud and a few very large boxes were delivered today. The wife is finally ready for me to lift her JKU - same 2.5" AEV lift, she already has the wheels and tires on it. Bumpers as well that are close to the ones I have. That will be one comfortable 4X4!
