First track in many years...

OK, so it took about 4 hours of work to FIND everything and assemble the lock and joiner track (far superior to AFX and TYCO track, IMO), then I realized the 4-lane wiring diagram on the internet was missing an important wire in the picture (too funny but it's kinda easy to figure out which one was missing), then getting at least three cars to MAKE it around the track...but it's great. The boys and I are having a great time. Trying to find a happy middle of cars that stay on the track but don't have blinding speed...the Tyco 440X2 fill the bill for that score. Then I fire up an old AFX car and toodle around. It's great. Really great. I should advertise an "open lane" for a prospective female to fill our racing requirements! Haha...

Dang, do we have to work/go to school tomorrow?? Darn.

Love the pics!

So, does this mean the last routed track didn't survive?

Aw heck, just make another!

My last routed track died. It was plagued with problems. Man, we are having a blast with the cars. My eldest (12) is "finally" taking an interest...yay me! Haha...he's still playinhg with it...and my younger one is too but can still take or leave it. Love the smells of electric motors in the air!

I love the track going around the tree. I think this might get me in some trouble!

Let's just say I don't have to ask permission anymore. Badump-bump.
