Those of you that know me know that I like to build my own 1:1 cars - whether restoring a Chevelle or building a Jeep. Well after a few years of constantly trying to steal my Jeep, the Fetching Mrs. Reinecke finally convinced me to do hers.

First, buy a big freaking jack, inventory the parts, and get to it!













All done! AEV 2.5" lift, Goodyear Duratrac tires, DV8 front and rear bumpers, and Hella 500 Black Magic lights.

Oh man I like it. Maybe when my Wrangler gets passed to my son I start thing seriously about a 4 door. That looks great.

Jim - the JK's from 2012 with the new motor and transmissions are fantastic! You'll love it!

Thanks. She is, but I'm not. It makes me notice how faded my bumpers are LOL. On the list of to-do's next spring.
