Great visit from Racer 285

Had a visit from a fellow slot racer yesterday. Racer285 and his wife stopped by from about two hours north of me, and we spent a great couple of hours just Talking slots, and getting to see pictures of his outstanding slot cave!. Of course we got in a good bit of slot time on the oval! Racer is one heck of a driver, and give us all we wanted in friendly wheel to wheel competition. We chose to run the brass chassis Modified's, and we had a blast letting them hang it out in the corners!
Racer has been a member on here since 2012. He doesn't post, as he is not really a computer guy, but I can tell you, he keeps up on all the happenings on here, and is one heck of an enthusiast.
We have plans to make a visit to his place, and hope to do some racing on his beautiful tracks. The pictures he shared of his 7'x 30', yep, you read that right! Oval are awesome, and I can only imagine how much fun straights that long can be!
He also has a really nice road course, with landscaping and detail work, and one of the largest slot car collections I have ever seen.
So anyone living anywhere near GA or SC. should look him up. They are great folks, and I look forward to another visit as soon as time permits.
Just one more great person on HRW that I can say I am proud to have met.
