So what are you folks doing this weekend?

Locoracer Tom is getting a chance to visit. He doesn't get to do this much anymore due to work, so we plan on having as much slotting fun as we can. I bet tuning the new Carrera Classics is on tap. Tom is a real motivator and can figure out things 3 times as fast as I can.

Then have grandkids coming for the Dixon Christmas parade. In Dixon that means tractors pulling trailers they call floats :)

The General is baking cookies!!! Then making her famous lasagna!

Harry you'll be proud the track is coming down this afternoon! A lot of laps and track maintenance on tap! Have fun today, tell Tom I said, "hey"

Hope to throw some paint at a few projects that are STILL not finished.

I also want to true some tires - I just threw on several pairs of Paul's tires - on my vintage F1's, several MRRC cars, and a few Scalextric GT40's. No truing, no nada and they ran unbelievably well. I used the clear polish to glue them on last night and hope to true today.

Been sick all week and I'm still sick. I'm going to make yet another pot of chicken soup and go back to bed. Blah.

No Christmas cupcakes? :)

Today is the big festival in our town - The Cracker Chrismas Festival. All the craft folks come out and show off their wares and there's a big gathering in our local park. Just one of the many benefits of living in a 1 traffic light town!

Tomorrow is "Disney Day". My daughter works for the Imagineering Department at Disney World near Orlando. A project she was working on is opening for 'Family & Friends" this weekend. It's kind of like a dress rehersal of the attraction and we're all going down to see it before the general public does.

We visited "The New Fantasyland" attraction just last month and it was very spectacular. You had to have a special pass to get into the area. It was great - small crowds and all friendly. Everyone just took their time, no pushing or jostling at all. We had a fantastic time that day.

Monday - some of us are retired - it's slot car prep day and then Tuesday is DeBary Glen day with my good friend ModlerBob.

I'm hoping Monday is also the 'receive the latest goodies from Slot Car Corner day' as well. If so, then I'll have some testing to do, so Tuesday will not be all fun, some work will be involved.

I have lots of car projects but they are all on a short hold at the moment. Need to buck up for some parts.

My guitar(s) are feeling neglected and I could learn a few Christmas songs to cheer them up. This or I'll be the subject of a six string intervention.

But I did come across an old Levin watchmakers lathe that I forgot I even had. I need a bed for it so the search is on. How do these things get separated and lost?

My wife accidentally stuck a pair of scissors in her wrist yesterday (don't ask), so we spent the afternoon at the hospital.

I may return to the man cave later today to continue with my holiday "tuning fest".

Putting a set of really nice wheels on a slot car at the moment.

Just finished a workout at the gym. About to get ready to take the kids to the beach for an ice cream. This afternoon ill do some work on my 70 javelin ta that I started a few months back. I can't believe Xmas is just around the corner, how time flies

Still working on projects. My biggest problem is I get too many going at one time, and don't get anything done. I'm also playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 online. It lets me take out my aggressions on the other players. :lol:

6 hours of racing, tuning, and having a blast done. I am feeling awesome right now. If I had some bacon it would be heaven!
