Looks like one more nasty cell coming. Purple is bad news. I might trade in the old Exploder for an Ark.

If one of you has a bass boat, I'll open up tomorrow and warm the track up.

I hope the wind is not pushing that northeast, or you're right in line for that purple patch. Does that mean rain, wind, both, or does it mean a tornado? Hope not. It seems odd to be hearing about tornadoes at Christmas time, and they have been getting closer to us every year. Who says there is no global warming, eh?
Hope you are safe and dry, and wishing you a Happy New Year.
Keith

We've been crazy hot and raining buckets. I don't remember a 76 degree Christmas since Texas- no, it never got that high in Texas at Christmas in 11 years when we were there. My son drove three feet off the side of the drive and sank. Had to get the tractor out- in the rain... Last year, we had 2 feet of snow.
The big storm in Mississippi chased my uncle all the way to the Tennessee state line a couple of days ago.

Looks like the worst bit with ice and snow is cutting across north of you. I hear Dallas is 53 and Lubbock is 23 and an ice storm. That's not very far apart, although Lubbock is on the Caprock Formation.

It is good and wet here in swampeast Mo. The Black River is forecast to reach 18 feet by Monday. Flood stage is 16 feet.

Seeing what some of you guys are having to deal with, I have decided to stop complaining about getting mildly toasted down in FL. Looks like it will hit 87 degs on the Gulf Coast today and my pasty white English skin is shocked.
Stay safe,
Jules
