17" with 4 foot drifts. Incidentally, that is exactly the limit of the fetching Mrs.Reinecke's Wrangler as she only got it half way up the driveway after work. A little 4-Lo action and it is now tucked away in the garage.

I hear ya Doc, the front is moving up and east, we are just into an estimated 18 hrs of freezing rain on the island, a bit north maybe 30 mins its heavy snow. Seems the Colorado Clipper is fighting with the Artic front droping down over the Great Lakes. Happy Spring brother

Good grief! But that's Colorado!

I really feel for you guys, but i'm a bit jealous as well. We got exactly one snowfall this winter. Overnight we got 1/2 inch of wet snow on the ground that was gone by noon. That's it, and I live in the so called "Great White North". At least we got lots of snow on the mountains this winter, so the skiers are happy, and I can always look out the window and see snow up there.

The cherry blossoms have come and gone, as have the crocuses and forsythia, but we sure have had a lot of wind and rain this winter.

Enjoy it while you can, global warming, you know.

I reserve at comment about weather...I bet Mrs. R. Maybe bringing up that south eastern state again.

Too bad you are not in Beer City USA. You could have your choice of more than 35 micro-bres, a Carolina blue sky, and 70 degrees.

My neighbors were cutting grass in 70 degree afternoon yesterday.
Today rain & 60 degrees, but 32 degrees tonight. :mad: :mad:

Well I have been up for 5 hrs now and only 1 vehicle has gone by the house, it was a sander.
it hasnt come back yet. Even the Ferry is shut down, and the worst is yet to come.
I think I will take Does advice and stay dry , at least on the outside J.
