I'm very lucky to have an awesome wife, as I am sure many others are.

She understands my obsession with toy cars, and puts up with all my loud friends coming around to play with their toy cars on my track. She paints lexan bodies for my 1/24 cars, and she has painted some wonderful car art for me over the years too.

Her latest "awesomeness" is this. She got me to go through my rather large collection of slot racing tee shirts and give her the ones I no longer wear, then she cut them up and made a banner that we have put around the walls of my home office, where I have my trophies and my vintage slot cars:

Cool hack with the CD towers. Awesome banner from the spare t-shirts. I have seen quilts before, yours is the first banner.

Neat idea. I need to dig out my BBQ team shirts. The "Master Basters", "Pig Parade", "Miss Piggy's Bottom", and "Knuckles and Butts" shirts are classics. Also, from a team from Little Rock, "Arkansas Round Steak Rounders" (a 40 pound chub of bologna on a spit over an open fire for 5-6 hours- insanely good). Maybe I'll stain them with BBQ sauce for effect, since I don't have nearly as many as you do!
