Updated Slot Car Racers Giving Back - German & Italian prize invasion!
Posted: Sat Apr 30, 2016 10:36 amI was very honored to participate in the recent Slot Racers Giving Back charity drawing that was part of the recent 24-hour race. Much to my surprise - I won several very nice items!
One of those is this very cool Carrera DTM BMW. Now, I have none of these as they are a bit modern for my taste, but I like the racing they do and have driven these at the HRW HQ and found them to be nice cars on a road course. I won't be getting a full fleet of these, but think I'll get two more for my 3-lane track to have something else to run it with. Luckily, these cars are inexpensive and run well right out of the box!
Mine arrived from HRW HQ yesterday and was tuned by the Boss himself. The car is crazy smooth and quiet. Harry did the toothpick tire trick and mimicked the Falken tires perfectly.
Flipping the car over, it is even signed by the Man himself!
